Cecilia | Founder & Director
Cecilia Sakatira is a worker with EME Ministries in Greece, originally from Zimbabwe. She has served as a humanitarian and Christian worker in Tunisia, Morocco, Uzbekistan, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Greece. Teacher, trainer, mentor and friend to "the least of these," she has developed expertise in working with single women and families in developing their physical, commercial, social and spiritual enterprises.
She is the originator of Threads of Hope, and holds a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling, degrees from the University of Zimbabwe (Honors in Sociology), and holds certificates in International Human Trafficking (Angelo State University, 2013), Manpower Planning and Development as well as Personnel Management (Institute of Personnel Management in Harare, Zimbabwe). She also has earned a certificate in pattern cutting and designing from the Harare Polytechnic College.
Through Threads of Hope, which she started in April 2012 as a means to educate and minister to victims of human trafficking in Athens, Greece, Cecilia has been able to incorporate her lifelong love for sewing with her passion for holistically caring for women and children in need.
